this was my friday goodwill find, this crazy & pretty chair! I wasn't expecting to find it but it was an opportunity I couldn't pass up. I was drawn to its unique color, shape, and pattern. It is made by J.B. Van Sciver a Dutch-American man who started a furniture store in Delaware in 1881. The company flourished in the late 1800s early 1900s. I am not sure how old my piece is or how much it would be worth, but Goodwill $40 is definitely a good deal, and it doesn't matter much to me because I just think it's so fun!

little details.
life is continuting at anthro on mondays & thursdays. it is so much fun. there is so much opportunity to be creative and there is a drive to produce and make things happen because of the display deadlines. lately i have doing a lot of signage around the store and tag making.... i will work on getting pictures of that stuff soon.
a little lady i put on our bulletin board in the art room.
an extra piece of a display i made into a kite-man.the chosen and created leaf label design.
i also built paper and thread eggs to put in our bird nests. they are crumpled wax paper covered in thread and painted.
